Continuing the development of integration projects using Asterisk and XMPP (now in a different perspective), I started a new project (more like a PoC) called IVR’s Data Delivery.
IVR’s Data Delivery allows that data already entered in the IVR can be used in other steps of a customer service, for example. The main goal is to provide more efficiency and interoperability between different solutions in a heterogeneous enterprise scenario.
If the customer data (for example) have already been entered in the IVR, why not use them in other stages of customer service?
Despite the fact that I started this project to integrate Asterisk IVRs with customer service softwares, this is a multipurpose project that can be used with any kind of software that you want.
Using the “new” Asterisk’s ARI API and XMPP (PubSub) you can make the information available to any software that you want.
If you want to test or use this project, feel free to download it at GitHub. In the repository you’ll find more docs about it.
